Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin shared live proceedings of a judicial infrastructure event organized in Chennai, where foundation stones were laid for state-of-the-art court complexes. The ceremony, attended by Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana and Madras High Court Chief Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari, marked the commencement of a nine-storey administrative block. Stalin highlighted that modern physical facilities are essential for judges, court staff, and legal practitioners to conduct judicial business efficiently.
During the event, several completed district court buildings and residential quarters were formally inaugurated to improve working conditions across the judicial system. Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian model administration accords high priority to strengthening court infrastructure, allocating substantial budgetary funds for digitizing courtrooms and expanding courtroom amenities. He pointed out that well-equipped judicial complexes expedite trial proceedings and reduce case pendency for citizens.
The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to maintaining harmony between the executive and judiciary. He expressed confidence that upgraded court infrastructure will provide dignified working environments for advocates and court officers while ensuring convenient, accessible justice delivery for litigants throughout Tamil Nadu. Stalin emphasized that strong judicial infrastructure strengthens public trust in democratic governance.
