நலத்திட்டங்கள் கிராம அளவில் எல்லாத் தரப்பினரையும் சென்றடைவதும்; ஒவ்வொருவரின் வாழ்வும் வளம்பெறுவதும்தான் #DravidianModel! https://t.co/AHpXdLKZK5

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin participated in the special open Grama Sabha assembly convened at Sengadu village panchayat in Kanchipuram district on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day. Addressing the gathered villagers, farmers, women self-help group members, and local administrators, Stalin announced a slew of developmental approvals responding directly to long-standing community demands, including new community halls, upgraded road networks, and expanded piped drinking water facilities.
The Chief Minister articulated the core vision of the Dravidian model of governance, stating that genuine progress occurs only when state welfare benefits reach the most vulnerable individuals in every remote village. Stalin emphasized that revitalizing rural economies and ensuring equitable prosperity for every household constitute the defining benchmarks of effective democratic administration.
Stalin commended the active civic engagement and constructive dialogue demonstrated by Sengadu residents during the open participatory discussions deliberating on community needs. He reiterated the state government policy decision to institutionalize six mandatory annual Grama Sabha meetings, ensuring that rural citizens hold sustained decision-making power over village budgets, development priorities, and welfare program execution across all districts of Tamil Nadu in the coming years.
