Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin shared a live video broadcast of the state government welfare distribution function convened in Theni district, allowing citizens statewide to view the dedication of major infrastructure projects and public assistance programs. The ceremony brought together thousands of residents, agrarian workers, and self-help group members who gathered to receive subsidized equipment, land titles, and financial support directly from state leadership.

During his address, Stalin highlighted that governance under the Dravidian model focuses on bridging regional disparities and extending state resources to underserved hilly and agrarian districts like Theni. He explained that inaugurating 114 crore rupees of completed civil projects and initiating 74 crore rupees of new development works will significantly strengthen local irrigation, municipal roadways, and healthcare infrastructure across the district.

The Chief Minister reiterated that direct interactions with beneficiaries reinforce the democratic covenant between the elected administration and everyday citizens. He commended the district administrative leadership for seamless coordination and instructed revenue departments to ensure that pending welfare petitions receive immediate, compassionate processing to serve public interests effectively across every village and urban ward.
