DMK president M.K. Stalin recalled that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam is fundamentally an ideological movement birthed by courageous, conscious students who rose in rebellion against deeply entrenched social dominance, cultural hegemony, and institutional oppression. Stalin affirmed that even after seventy-five years of tumultuous political struggles and electoral triumphs, the revolutionary ideological vigor and fighting spirit of party students continue to grow without the slightest diminution across generations.

The party president recalled how towering icons like Perarignar Anna and Muthamizharignar Kalaignar emerged from student movements, using their literary eloquence, rationalist arguments, and organizational discipline to awaken the Tamil populace and dismantle feudal orthodoxies. Stalin reminded the youth that student agitation formed the backbone of legendary historical struggles, including the anti-Hindi imposition agitations and movements for backward class reservations.

Stalin stressed that today youth face contemporary forms of oppression that threaten their future, from centralized entrance exams to the erosion of regional language rights. He called upon students to draw inspiration from their movement proud heritage, remain steadfast in their moral principles, and continue carrying the torch of rationalism and self-respect into every educational institution.
