DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin emphasized that the national conclave organized by the party Student Wing was a timely and essential initiative designed to take the principles of the Dravidian model of governance to every corner of India. Stalin pointed out that Tamil Nadu developmental trajectory offers a compelling national alternative, successfully harmonizing rapid industrial expansion, high economic growth, and comprehensive social welfare protections for marginalized communities.
The Chief Minister observed that the conference provided a vital intellectual bridge, enabling national leaders, political thinkers, and policy advocates from diverse states to examine and endorse the inclusive administrative practices pioneered in Tamil Nadu. He stated that nationwide discussions on equitable resource distribution, universal healthcare, and affirmative action are urgently required to counter regressive economic models.
Stalin noted that the Dravidian model is not merely a regional governance framework but a robust philosophical template capable of safeguarding India diverse federal polity. He expressed confidence that the resolutions adopted and ideas articulated during the seminar will resonate across other states, inspiring progressive coalitions to demand decentralization and people-centric development policies.
