DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conveyed heartfelt gratitude to prominent national political leaders, legal scholars, and progressive activists who converged in Chennai from every corner of India to participate in the DMK Student Wing national conclave. Stalin noted that their presence and intellectual contributions added immense strength and prestige to the two-day seminar, elevating its deliberations on education, social justice, and federalism onto the national stage.
The Chief Minister emphasized that Chennai has long stood as the ideological capital of Dravidian rationalism and regional self-respect, offering a beacon for oppressed communities nationwide. He commended the visiting delegates for eloquently articulating the collective resistance of diverse states against authoritarian tendencies, educational exclusion, and systematic erosion of constitutional rights by the Union Government.
Stalin declared that the conclave demonstrated the growing unity among progressive democratic forces across regional boundaries. He reiterated that defending state autonomy and equal opportunities requires an enduring national coalition of conscious citizens, intellectual vanguards, and political leaders. Stalin pledged that Tamil Nadu will continue to provide leadership in rallying all democratic forces to protect India constitutional fabric.
