Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin called upon the Federation of Indian Export Organisations to collaborate closely with the state government to accelerate international trade, enhance export competitiveness, and realize Tamil Nadu vision of becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy by 2030. Speaking at an export promotion conclave, Stalin highlighted key state initiatives, including the State Export Promotion Committee, the proposed Knowledge City, and dedicated startup incubation ecosystems.
The Chief Minister stressed that Tamil Nadu possesses formidable competitive strengths in manufacturing, ranging from automobiles and electronics to textiles and leather goods. He underscored the need to expand global market access for local micro, small, and medium enterprises, enabling indigenous artisans and regional manufacturers to export their unique products to lucrative international destinations with state institutional support.
Stalin emphasized that the Dravidian model of economic development combines industrial vigor with widespread social equity and employment generation. He assured exporting enterprises that the administration will continuously provide modern logistics infrastructure, streamlined regulatory clearances, and export incentive frameworks. Reaffirming his government commitment to manufacturing excellence, Stalin expressed complete confidence that strong public-private partnerships will propel Tamil Nadu to the premier export destination in India.
