Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin published an open letter to party cadres reflecting on his two-day inspection tour across the Cauvery Delta districts. Stalin expressed deep personal satisfaction with the warm public reception received from local residents, agricultural workers, and cultivating farmers throughout the rural belt. Identifying himself proudly as a native son of the Delta region, the Chief Minister noted that witnessing agricultural communities celebrate the timely release of irrigation water brought him immense joy and renewed energy.
During his travel through the river basin, Stalin reviewed extensive desilting operations executed across key irrigation canals and inspected structural progress on the upcoming Kalaignar Memorial Museum in Tiruvarur. He emphasized that the museum stands as a monumental cultural center dedicated to the life, literary contributions, and historic political struggles of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.
Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian model administration remains dedicated to safeguarding agricultural livelihoods through disciplined irrigation management and proactive infrastructure maintenance. He assured farmers that government machinery will continue monitoring canal flows daily to secure equitable water distribution to tail-end fields throughout the Kuruvai paddy cultivation season across all delta districts.
