TN has been adjudged as one of the top achievers in Ease of doing Business Ranking. We have leapfrogged from 14th to 3rd rank, going by the point system.
I congratulate Hon'ble @TThenarasu and his team for their concerted efforts in promoting TN as the major hub of investments. https://t.co/YrKr3xkKdh

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin celebrated Tamil Nadu's remarkable leap from fourteenth to third place nationally under the point-based Ease of Doing Business assessment framework. Commending Industries Minister Thangam Thennarasu and his administrative team, Stalin highlighted their concerted efforts in establishing Tamil Nadu as India's premier investment hub. The evaluation, conducted by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, categorized Tamil Nadu among top achiever states following comprehensive business reforms.
The significant ranking improvement reflects wide-ranging administrative reforms undertaken by the DMK government since assuming office in May 2021. Stalin noted that the state streamlined bureaucratic workflows, digitized industrial licensing procedures through single-window clearance portals, and reduced regulatory compliance burdens across manufacturing sectors. These measures created a predictable, transparent operating environment, attracting substantial domestic and multinational capital investments into automotive, renewable energy, electronics, and technical textiles.
The Chief Minister emphasized that industrial facilitation must go hand in hand with robust labor protections, environmental sustainability, and regional employment generation. Stalin affirmed that Tamil Nadu's target of becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy by 2030 relies on maintaining top-tier industrial infrastructure and responsive governance across all commercial sectors.
