Chief Minister M.K. Stalin commended the Tamil Nadu Startup and Innovation Mission, known as TANSIM, for implementing dynamic policy measures that invigorated the state's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Expressing confidence in the mission's trajectory, Stalin articulated the ambitious target of elevating Tamil Nadu into the top Best Performer category in forthcoming national States Startup Rankings. He extended best wishes to the entire TANSIM executive team, encouraging them to expand enterprise support across diverse emerging sectors.

Under TANSIM's guidance, Tamil Nadu introduced targeted seed funding grants, established specialized incubation centres, and promoted regional startup hubs in Coimbatore, Madurai, and Tirunelveli. Stalin noted that government interventions specifically support early-stage ventures spearheaded by women entrepreneurs, rural innovators, and founders from marginalized communities. This inclusive funding framework ensures that capital, technical mentorship, and market linkages reach beyond traditional urban technology clusters into grassroots business ecosystems.

The Chief Minister emphasized that fostering a vibrant startup environment is central to transforming Tamil Nadu into a one-trillion-dollar economy by 2030. Stalin pledged continuous state support for deep-tech research, intellectual property registration, and venture capital partnerships, ensuring Tamil Nadu remains an agile, competitive destination for enterprise and technological innovation.
