Chief Minister M.K. Stalin reaffirmed his administration's pledge to deliver quality education and healthcare to all citizens, describing both sectors as the twin eyes of governance. Marking the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister K. Kamaraj, Stalin announced plans to refine and expand existing public welfare schemes across Tamil Nadu. He emphasized that equitable public schooling and dependable medical treatment constitute foundational rights that every responsible welfare administration must guarantee unconditionally.
Stalin noted that Kamaraj's vision laid the groundwork for widespread school education in Tamil Nadu, introducing mid-day meals to ensure rural children entered classrooms without hunger. Building on that enduring legacy, the current DMK administration continues upgrading government school classrooms, introducing modern digital learning tools, and launching nutrition initiatives. In public healthcare, the state has expanded neighborhood medical clinics and community health infrastructure to bring specialized care closer to working-class families.
The Chief Minister called upon officials and citizens to collaborate in refining grassroots public delivery systems. Stalin underlined that sustained social progress depends on healthy, educated citizens who can participate fully in economic and civic life. He affirmed that government policies will continue prioritizing accessible medical care and inclusive education across all districts.
