Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin issued a Letter to Brethren announcing his complete recovery from COVID-19 and impending discharge from the hospital. Expressing heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated medical team at Kauvery Hospital and millions of citizens who conveyed prayers and well-wishes, Stalin stated that public affection and clinical expertise enabled his swift recuperation. Although physicians advised rest, the Chief Minister stated that his conscience could not countenance taking leave when crucial public responsibilities and milestone events demanded active executive leadership.
Stalin highlighted the immediate priorities awaiting his personal oversight, including the grand observance of Tamil Nadu Day on July 18 and the historic 44th FIDE Chess Olympiad scheduled to commence in Mamallapuram. He noted that hosting thousands of international delegates and ensuring foolproof administrative arrangements requires continuous hands-on coordination across government departments. The Chief Minister urged party cadres and administrative officials to maintain high momentum in executing public welfare projects and citizen grievance redressal. Stalin affirmed that public service remains his primary life mission, concluding that neither illness nor fatigue can deter him from laboring tirelessly for the prosperity and honor of Tamil Nadu.
