DMK president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin penned an inspiring Letter to Brethren commemorating the forty-second foundation anniversary of the DMK Youth Wing, which he personally founded and nurtured over several decades. Recalling the words of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi—who described the party as a bow and its youth wing as the arrow—Stalin observed that four decades later, the speed, strength, and intellectual sharpness of that arrow have only intensified. He commended the tireless grassroots mobilization of youth wing cadres who stood as an impregnable frontline during severe political struggles and electoral contests.
Stalin urged the youth wing, currently led by Udhayanidhi Stalin, to adapt continuously to evolving historical contexts and contemporary battlegrounds, particularly digital media and intellectual debates. He instructed young party workers to master Dravidian ideology, counter ideological falsehoods disseminated by communal forces, and communicate government welfare schemes effectively to ordinary households. The Chief Minister stressed that political power must always remain anchored in ideological discipline, public service, and selfless dedication. Stalin called upon the youth wing to continue acting as the energetic driving force of the DMK, defending state rights and social justice with unyielding resolve.
