DMK president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered a key special address at the twenty-fifth Tamil Nadu State Conference of the Communist Party of India held in Tiruppur. Speaking before delegates and labor leaders, Stalin hailed Tiruppur as the heroic land of hardworking textile workers, freedom fighters, and industrial enterprise. He emphasized that the historic partnership between the Dravidian movement and Left parties is rooted in mutual ideological respect, shared dedication to social justice, and common commitment to the rights of the working class.
Stalin called upon secular and progressive democratic forces across India to unite firmly against communal polarization, economic centralisation, and the undermining of federal autonomy. He pointed out that policies eroding state revenues and diluting labor protections severely impact industrial clusters like Tiruppur. The Chief Minister detailed his government's welfare interventions supporting textile manufacturers, knitwear workers, and small enterprises coping with economic pressures. Stalin affirmed that Tamil Nadu's governance model blends industrial growth with comprehensive social welfare, reiterating that the DMK and Left allies will jointly resist authoritarian policies and fight tirelessly to protect working-class livelihoods and safeguard state autonomy.
