The return of the Grand Alliance in Bihar is a timely effort in the unity of secular and democratic forces of the country. https://t.co/c2Hu9US49g

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin warmly congratulated Janata Dal United leader Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav on assuming office as Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar respectively. Welcoming the reconstitution of the Mahagathbandhan or Grand Alliance administration in Patna, Stalin characterized the development as a timely, consequential milestone in uniting secular, democratic, and regional political forces across the nation. He emphasized that cooperative partnerships among regional parties are crucial to resist political centralisation and protect constitutional principles.
Stalin expressed firm optimism that the new leadership in Bihar will advance social equity, inclusive democratic governance, and economic welfare for underprivileged sections of society. He pointed out that broad-based secular coalitions provide a balanced political alternative capable of defending federal autonomy, linguistic diversity, and parliamentary values. By consolidating democratic parties across northern and southern states, regional leaders can effectively articulate state rights and democratically demand fair treatment from the Union Government. Stalin reaffirmed the DMK's steadfast commitment to building nationwide ideological solidarity with allied regional movements dedicated to secularism, social justice, popular democracy, and constitutional federalism.
