Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered the presidential address at the regional industrial conference titled Thol Koduppom Thozhilgalukku held in Tiruppur, outlining proactive administrative measures to revitalize small-scale enterprises across the industrial belt. The conclave convened thousands of MSME proprietors, textile exporters, commercial bankers, and government officials to evaluate industrial challenges and streamline credit delivery mechanisms.
Stalin highlighted the state government's initiatives to enhance liquidity, subsidize industrial infrastructure, and upgrade manufacturing technologies for traditional textile and engineering units. He announced special credit schemes, export guidance desks, and common effluent treatment plant upgrades designed to lower operational overheads for Tiruppur manufacturers. The Chief Minister emphasized that supporting micro-enterprises directly strengthens grassroots household incomes and preserves vital export revenue.
Reiterating his government's goal to transform Tamil Nadu into a one-trillion-dollar economy by 2030, Stalin asserted that industrial policies must prioritize inclusive regional development. He urged entrepreneurs to leverage modern automation, expand sustainable manufacturing practices, and explore new export markets, promising that the state administration will stand firmly alongside small enterprises to guarantee industrial growth, sustained financial stability, and long-term workforce employment security.
