Landed in Kerala to a warm and rousing reception amidst the drizzle.
Later, met my Dear Comrade Hon'ble @pinarayivijayan and presented him a memorandum of schemes that would be beneficial to both Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin arrived in Kerala to attend the Southern Zonal Council summit and held a productive bilateral meeting with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Thiruvananthapuram. Amidst a warm welcome from Kerala government representatives, Stalin presented an official memorandum outlining collaborative schemes, shared river basin management, and mutual developmental priorities vital to both neighbouring states and their border populations.
The discussions focused on strengthening historic cultural and economic ties between Tamil Nadu and Kerala, particularly regarding inter-state water management, transport connectivity, interstate trade routes, agricultural exchanges, and shared environmental conservation along the Western Ghats. Stalin emphasized that direct cooperative engagement between state leaderships provides the most constructive avenue for resolving long-pending bilateral questions while creating new avenues for economic synergy and shared prosperity.
Affirming the deep fraternal bonds uniting the people of both states, Stalin expressed confidence that joint administrative mechanisms will accelerate regional prosperity and social harmony. He reiterated that progressive southern states must stand united in advancing democratic federalism, protecting regional autonomy, and ensuring sustainable developmental benefits for their respective citizens across all shared sectors.
