Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin paid respectful homage to valiant freedom fighter and social justice warrior Immanuel Sekaran on his 65th memorial anniversary, remembering his heroic struggle to establish the identity, equality, and self-respect of oppressed communities. Stalin recalled how Immanuel Sekaran fearlessly mobilized marginalized people against entrenched caste discrimination, untouchability, and feudal oppression across southern districts.
The Chief Minister emphasized that Immanuel Sekaran's supreme sacrifice remains an enduring symbol of resistance against systemic subjugation, inspiring generations of activists to demand equal human dignity and civil rights. Stalin noted that the Dravidian movement has always held Sekaran's revolutionary contributions in the highest reverence, working continuously to dismantle caste-based barriers and confer equal educational and political opportunities upon oppressed classes. His government continues to execute targeted welfare and developmental programs for marginalized communities.
Stalin reiterated that his administration is firmly dedicated to realizing the egalitarian dreams of social reformers who fought against social hierarchy. He pledged that Tamil Nadu will remain a bastion of social justice, safeguarding the rights, dignity, and collective security of all oppressed citizens with unyielding administrative resolve.
