DMK President and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin issued an inspiring letter to party brethren designating September as the sacred Dravidian Month, which marks the birth anniversaries of Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna, and the founding of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Stalin reminded party workers that these three historic milestones collectively dismantled social feudalism, dispelled feudal ignorance, and ignited a glorious renaissance of rationalism and self-respect across Tamil society.

Stalin invited party workers from every district, union, and town panchayat to assemble in large numbers at the historic town of Virudhunagar for the grand DMK Mupperum Vizha. He noted that Virudhunagar, the birthplace of legendary leader K. Kamaraj, offers the ideal ideological setting to celebrate the achievements of the Dravidian Model governance and renew the party's pledge for societal transformation. The conference will showcase the unyielding solidarity, discipline, and grassroots vibrancy of the DMK.

The Chief Minister stressed that the Dravidian movement's ideological duty is more critical today than ever before in defending federalism and social justice. He urged cadres to create historic enthusiasm and carry the message of secularism across every home.
