DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered the presidential address at the massive DMK Mupperum Vizha 2022 conference held in Virudhunagar. Addressing hundreds of thousands of party cadres, senior ministers, and ideological leaders, Stalin celebrated the triple milestone commemorating the birth anniversaries of Thanthai Periyar and Perarignar Anna, alongside the founding anniversary of the DMK.
Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian movement has always functioned as a transformative social revolution that reshaped India's political consciousness. He highlighted the extensive social welfare programs executed under the Dravidian Model governance, asserting that administrative excellence is the party's greatest political strength. Sounding the battle cry for the 2024 parliamentary elections, Stalin proclaimed the historic target that all forty seats across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry belong decisively to the secular democratic alliance.
The Chief Minister called upon cadres to tirelessly defend federalism, linguistic equality, and constitutional secularism against the divisive agenda of the Union government. He urged party workers to carry the government's developmental milestones to every household, safeguarding people's fundamental democratic rights, and ensuring a historic nationwide constitutional resurgence of progressive federalism.
