Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered the special address and presented prestigious state entrepreneurship awards at the southern regional conference organized by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department in Madurai. Speaking under the banner theme of supporting industries with strength, Stalin lauded entrepreneurs for their resilient contribution to employment generation and manufacturing excellence.

The Chief Minister outlined multi-pronged policy measures implemented by his government, including streamlined credit access through specialized state financial corporations, export facilitation centers, and localized vendor development programs. Stalin stressed that MSMEs represent the vital engine of Tamil Nadu's manufacturing economy, accounting for millions of livelihoods. The government is creating plug-and-play industrial estates and offering attractive power tariff concessions to help small enterprises withstand global economic headwinds.

Stalin commended the award-winning industrialists for their innovative spirit, quality standards, and ethical business practices. He reaffirmed that the Dravidian Model of economic governance ensures that state support reaches every scale of enterprise, from village artisanal units to advanced engineering machine shops, driving balanced industrial expansion, sustainable employment generation, and inclusive statewide economic prosperity across all regions of Tamil Nadu.
