Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin affirmed that Periyarism is a universal ideology dedicated to resisting oppression wherever and in whatever form it manifests across the world. Stalin emphasized that the rationalist philosophy propounded by social reformer Thanthai Periyar transcends geographical boundaries, linguistic divisions, and national borders, offering an enduring framework for global human liberation.

The Chief Minister commended Dravidar Kazhagam President K. Veeramani for spearheading the establishment of Periyar Ulagam, an international research and learning center situated at Siruganur near Tiruchirappalli. Stalin noted that just as Periyar Thidal in Chennai has stood as an unshakeable citadel of rationalist discourse and social justice for decades, the expansive Periyar Ulagam campus will etch itself permanently into history as a beacon of progressive progressive humanist thought and rationalist social inquiry.

Stalin stressed that Periyar's uncompromising assault on caste hierarchy, superstition, and gender inequality remains remarkably vital for contemporary society. He reiterated that his administration will continually defend self-respect principles and foster critical thinking, ensuring Periyar's revolutionary ideals continually inspire future generations globally to dismantle systemic social inequalities, eliminate caste prejudices, and uphold human fraternity.
