Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered a special address at the state conference organized by the Tamil Nadu All Types of Differently Abled and Caregivers Rights Association in Chennai. Speaking to hundreds of delegates, caregivers, and welfare advocates, Stalin reaffirmed that his government treats the rights and dignity of differently abled citizens as an absolute administrative priority.
The Chief Minister acknowledged the tireless dedication of parents and family caregivers, noting that public support structures must alleviate their day-to-day emotional and financial burdens. Stalin detailed recent state measures, including prioritized housing allotments under the Urban Habitat Development Board, customized transport concessions, and subsidized medical rehabilitation centers across district headquarters. He emphasized that policies are being continuously refined through transparent consultations with disability rights organizations.
Stalin affirmed that his administration views disability welfare through the lens of human rights rather than mere charity. By personally overseeing the department, Stalin ensures that welfare allocations translate into concrete, life-changing support for families in need. His compassionate leadership continues to bring profound reassurance, security, and renewed confidence to thousands of caregivers across Tamil Nadu.
