Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin formally inaugurated the Tamil Parappuraik Kazhagam at a gala ceremony organized by the Information Technology and Digital Services Department in Chennai. Addressing distinguished Tamil scholars, educationalists, technocrats, and international diaspora delegates attending virtually, Stalin outlined the state government's comprehensive strategic roadmap to preserve, cultivate, and propagate classical Tamil across international borders utilizing cutting-edge digital pedagogy and virtual learning environments.
Stalin unveiled first-phase curriculum materials comprising twenty-four language-specific textbooks, interactive multimedia apps, and structured online learning portals developed under the auspices of the Tamil Virtual Academy. The program provides systematic linguistic instruction to children of Tamil emigrants living across more than thirty nations, eliminating geographical barriers to mother-tongue education. Qualified online teachers and tutors will deliver individualized learning guidance, fostering reading, writing, and conversational fluency.
The Chief Minister asserted that language preservation requires active contemporary adaptation rather than passive archival storage. He emphasized that the Dravidian Model governance will continually invest in computational linguistics, natural language processing, and digital literature to ensure Tamil remains vibrant, accessible, and flourishing among digital native generations globally. Stalin reiterated that embracing innovative pedagogical technology ensures the timeless legacy of Tamil inspires future generations.
