Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered the keynote address at the formal commissioning ceremony of Pegatron Technology India's state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Chengalpattu district. Addressing international executives, industry leaders, and workers, Stalin noted that the timely commencement of commercial operations, within eighteen months of signing the memorandum of understanding, demonstrated the state administration's extraordinary speed, administrative efficiency, and supportive business climate.

Stalin highlighted that Tamil Nadu produces over twenty percent of India's total electronics output, with global leaders in smartphone and computer assembly choosing the state as their preferred production base. He underscored that industrial growth under the Dravidian Model ensures balanced regional industrialization, fair remuneration, and safe work environments for women, who constitute over seventy percent of the shopfloor workforce at Pegatron.

The Chief Minister assured international investors of continued bureaucratic transparency, uninterrupted clean power supply, and rapid infrastructural connectivity. Concluding his speech, Stalin reaffirmed that attracting knowledge-intensive industries remains integral to providing fulfilling careers for Tamil youth and solidifying the state's global reputation as a manufacturing powerhouse. The Chief Minister emphasized that fostering an innovation-friendly industrial climate ensures sustainable employment and inclusive prosperity across Tamil Nadu.
