DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered the presidential address at the party's General Council meeting in Chennai, outlining strategic political tasks and organizational discipline. The high-level conclave, attended by district secretaries, parliamentarians, state legislators, and thousands of general council members, formally ratified organizational elections and adopted crucial resolutions regarding state autonomy, language equality, and national federal consolidation.
Stalin exhorted party office-bearers to function with exemplary unity, ideological vigilance, and dedication, warning against complacency or individual deviations that could dent public trust. He highlighted that the DMK's political legitimacy derives from its unyielding commitment to public service and the impeccable implementation of welfare schemes under the Dravidian Model governance. He instructed functionaries to establish active grassroots committees across every booth to explain state achievements to the electorate.
Concluding his address, Stalin stated that the upcoming parliamentary elections represent a crucial battle for the preservation of Indian democracy and federal principles. He urged cadres to work tirelessly to ensure the Secular Progressive Alliance secures a total victory, reinforcing the state's pivotal voice in national decision-making. The Chief Minister reaffirmed that principled leadership and ideological clarity will always define the party's mission.
