Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered the special address at the centenary culmination ceremony of the Employers' Federation of Southern India in Chennai, celebrating the federation's century-long contributions toward structuring industrial growth, labor policies, and management practices. Addressing prominent corporate leaders, industrial captains, and economic policymakers, Stalin articulated his government's strategic roadmap to elevate Tamil Nadu into a one-trillion-dollar economy through high-technology manufacturing and equitable industrial ecosystems.
Stalin noted that Tamil Nadu's formidable standing as India's manufacturing leader rests on three pillars: peace, skilled talent, and progressive governance. The state administration has simplified regulatory procedures, launched single-window investor clearances, and upgraded technical education through the Naan Mudhalvan scheme to meet dynamic corporate talent requirements. Concurrently, the government ensures that labor welfare laws are rigorously observed to preserve social harmony across industrial belts.
The Chief Minister called upon corporate employers to actively partner with the state in technical skill development, green industrial manufacturing, and affirmative employment practices. By sustaining close cooperation between modern industry and state administration, Tamil Nadu continues to set pioneering national benchmarks in inclusive economic development and employment generation.
