Commemorating the legacy of the Justice Party, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin issued an inspiring call to the Tamil people, celebrating the historic path forged by Dravidian pioneers to defend communal self-respect, shatter political subservience, and reclaim political sovereignty. Stalin emphasized that during an era when indigenous ethnic consciousness was deliberately subdued by orthodox hegemony, the Justice Party arose as an intellectual powerhouse that illuminated the struggle for human rights and constitutional equality.
The Chief Minister cautioned that reactionary forces continually adopt deceitful disguises and modern pretexts to divide Tamil society and roll back century-long gains of affirmative action. However, having imbibed the rationalist teachings of the Self-Respect movement, awakened Tamils can no longer be misled by divisive communal rhetoric. Invoking the legendary clarion call—Dravidian, awake, arise, and march—Stalin stressed that eternal vigilance remains the price of liberty and dignity.
Stalin concluded by asserting that the DMK administration functions as the contemporary torchbearer of this historic mission. By fusing social justice with robust economic progress, Tamil Nadu continues to stand as an impregnable fortress against authoritarian and regressive forces seeking to undermine federal democracy.
