Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin presided over the grand centenary culmination and book release ceremony honoring philosopher T.K. Srinivasan in Chennai, releasing reprinted volumes of the renowned thinker's pioneering ideological treatises. Addressing an audience of senior party stalwarts, literary critics, and scholars, Stalin commemorated Srinivasan's extraordinary contributions as a founding intellectual pillar of the Dravidian renaissance whose writings articulated rationalist principles with profound philosophical depth.
Stalin recounted that leaders like Arignar Anna and Kalaignar Karunanidhi held Srinivasan's razor-sharp debates and scholarly expositions in the highest esteem. During an era when marginalized communities were systematically denied access to literary discourse, Dravidian thinkers broke classical monopolies by authoring accessible, evocative literature that awakened popular political consciousness. Reissuing these foundational texts ensures that modern scholars and researchers have direct access to authentic primary sources documenting the Dravidian struggle for egalitarian reform.
The Chief Minister emphasized that true commemoration of historic stalwarts consists of applying their progressive ideals to present-day governance. Tamil Nadu's ongoing welfare and educational interventions, he concluded, carry forward Srinivasan's passionate belief in universal human dignity, rationality, and structural equality.
