Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin received an affectionate and enthusiastic public reception in Tenkasi district, where he presided over a massive state government function to distribute welfare assistance to 1,03,508 beneficiaries. The extensive welfare package covered diverse administrative departments, providing land title deeds (pattas), old-age pensions, educational scholarships, agricultural inputs, and subsidized credit assistance to rural women, small farmers, and socially vulnerable households across the southern district.
During his visit, Stalin took special delight in interacting with common citizens and school children, warmly recounting his encounter with a young schoolgirl named Aradhana who expressed cheerful faith in his administration. Stalin remarked that earning the instinctive trust and affection of children and everyday families is the ultimate validation of people-centric governance. He stressed that government must function not as an aloof bureaucracy, but as a caring parent ensuring every child and citizen receives protection, dignity, and opportunities to prosper.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed his resolve to continue working tirelessly for balanced regional development across southern Tamil Nadu. Stalin declared that seeing direct smiles of gratitude on over one lakh beneficiaries energizes his administration to accelerate welfare delivery statewide.
