Chief Minister M.K. Stalin unveiled a grand statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution and revolutionary emancipator, on the historic soil of Madurai. Expressing immense pride in dedicating the statue in the city renowned for Kannagi's historic quest for justice, Stalin delivered a searing ideological address, condemning reactionary forces attempting to distort Ambedkar's legacy and paint saffron hues over a revolutionary who spent his entire life annihilating caste hierarchy and Brahmanical orthodoxy.

Stalin asserted that Ambedkar belongs to all oppressed humanity and stands as an eternal beacon of reason, human dignity, and constitutional liberty. He highlighted that the DMK government declared Ambedkar's birth anniversary on April 14 as the official 'Equality Day' across Tamil Nadu, mandating a secular equality pledge in all educational institutions and government offices. In addition, seminal works of Ambedkar are being translated and published in Tamil at subsidized prices to educate youth.

The Chief Minister resolved that the Dravidian movement will aggressively resist any regressive attempts to co-opt or dilute Ambedkar's radical message. Calling for unbreakable solidarity among Dalit, backward, and minority communities, Stalin pledged that Tamil Nadu will remain an impregnable fortress defending Ambedkarite principles of liberty, equality, and fraternity.
