பக்தியிசையானாலும் திரையிசையானாலும் ராக் இசையானாலும் அவை தமிழிசையாக அரங்குகளில் ஒலிக்கட்டும்!

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin underscored the ancient antiquity and exquisite richness of Tamil musical tradition, insisting that Tamil songs must reverberate across prestigious cultural sabhas, including The Music Academy in Chennai. Speaking to artists and cultural organizers, Stalin observed that whether compositions belong to devotional hymns, classical ragas, film music, or contemporary rock genres, they must resonate in the native Tamil language to truly move and inspire listeners.
Stalin articulated the fundamental cultural principle that art and music derive their eternal longevity from language. When artists sing in the language of the land, music transcends abstract melody and transforms into a living, emotive dialogue between performer and audience. He emphasized that the Dravidian movement has never opposed any musical genre or language, but has consistently demanded that Tamil be given prime, dignified space on concert stages within Tamil Nadu.
The Chief Minister called upon premier music academies and sabha managers to actively incorporate Tamil kritis and compositions into their seasonal festival schedules. Stalin assured that his administration will continue extending enthusiastic patronage to institutions that democratize performing arts, celebrating Tamil's rich musical heritage and making classical concerts accessible to broader publics.
