DMK President and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated a three-day historical photo exhibition on the life and public service of Perasiriyar K. Anbazhagan at Anna Arivalayam in Chennai. Curated by veteran photographer Kovai Subbu as part of the centenary commemorative series, the exhibition brings together hundreds of rare photographs, official documents, and historical clippings tracing Anbazhagan's extraordinary seven-decade journey in the Dravidian movement.
Viewing the exhibits alongside senior party colleagues, Stalin observed that the visual archives capture the seminal moments of modern Tamil Nadu history—from the anti-Hindi agitations and self-respect conferences to historic legislative debates and cabinet governance. Each photograph stands as testimony to Anbazhagan's scholarly dignity, unshakeable friendship with Kalaignar Karunanidhi, and uncompromising loyalty to party principles. Stalin remarked that the exhibition serves as a visual textbook for today's generation.
The Chief Minister urged students, cadres, and researchers to visit the exhibition, study the historical struggles documented therein, and draw inspiration from Anbazhagan's ethical politics. Stalin stated that memorializing foundational leaders through curated visual archives preserves institutional memory and keeps the revolutionary spirit of the Dravidian movement alive for posterity.
