Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered the special inaugural address at the Global Tamil Startup Investors Conference, jointly organized by the Federation of Tamil Sangams of North America's FiTEN forum and StartupTN in Chennai. Broadcast live to business delegates globally, Stalin's address highlighted Tamil Nadu's steady transformation into one of the world's most dynamic innovation and knowledge ecosystems.
The Chief Minister commended North American Tamil business leaders for building institutional bridges between Silicon Valley venture capital networks and emerging Tamil Nadu enterprises. He emphasized that the state government is establishing regional startup hubs in Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, and Tirunelveli to ensure that entrepreneurial innovation thrives beyond Chennai in regional districts, unlocking the latent talent of youth from rural and semi-urban backgrounds.
Stalin outlined the government's ambitious economic roadmap, reiterating that Tamil Nadu is determined to achieve a gross state domestic product of one trillion dollars by 2030. He assured participating venture capitalists and angel investors that his administration will maintain predictable business policies, transparent administrative processes, and comprehensive infrastructure support for all innovative business ventures launched in the state.
