Chief Minister M.K. Stalin participated in the 74th Republic Day celebrations organized along Kamarajar Salai near the Marina beachfront in Chennai, witnessing an impressive parade by uniformed armed forces and police squads, departmental floats showcasing government achievements, and vibrant cultural presentations by college students. Following the flag unfurling by the Governor, Stalin personally conferred prestigious state honors and bravery awards upon exemplary citizens, police officers, and social servants.
The ceremonial celebrations featured vibrant tableaux presented by various state departments, illustrating public welfare initiatives including the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme, Pudhumai Penn, and Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam. College students from across Tamil Nadu performed dynamic folk dances celebrating India's rich linguistic and cultural diversity. Stalin observed that the lively student performances vividly reflected the constitutional spirit of unity in diversity, reinforcing the foundational principle that India thrives through its pluralistic heritage.

Congratulating the awardees, the Chief Minister affirmed that the state government will perpetually honor courageous and selfless citizens who strengthen democratic harmony, public safety, and communal brotherhood across Tamil Nadu.
