Chief Minister M.K. Stalin convened a high-level zonal law and order review meeting in Vellore with senior police officials representing Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupathur, and Tiruvannamalai districts under the Kala Aayvil Mudhalvar framework. Addressing district police chiefs and supervisory officers, Stalin declared that preventive policing constitutes the very soul and heart of a professional law enforcement apparatus, directing the force to anticipate and neutralize potential crimes before unlawful acts occur.

The Chief Minister instructed police personnel to act as an unyielding bulwark for marginalized and vulnerable communities who approach police stations seeking justice and protection. He stressed that law enforcement officers must handle complaints relating to women's safety, child protection, caste-based harassment, and illicit narcotics with utmost sensitivity and immediate legal action. Stalin directed superintendents of police to intensify night patrolling, monitor repeat offenders, and utilize modern cyber surveillance to maintain communal harmony and public order across the region.

Stalin concluded by reminding officers that public trust is the greatest asset of any police administration. He reiterated that the Tamil Nadu government provides comprehensive logistical backing and modern technology to the police force, expecting in return an impartial, fearless, and citizen-friendly service that upholds justice for all.
