During his extensive tour of Vellore district, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin convened an open stakeholder consultation meeting with local farmers, women from self-help groups, merchants, and representatives of micro, small, and medium enterprises. Stalin listened attentively to their detailed feedback on state policies, local infrastructure bottlenecks, credit availability, and regulatory requirements, assuring participants that their representations would receive prompt and sympathetic government consideration.
During the interactive session, agricultural delegates raised matters concerning irrigation water management, crop insurance, and procurement centers, while self-help group members discussed marketing support and institutional micro-credit expansion. Small business owners and commercial traders outlined power tariff considerations, industrial park facilities, and simplified local licensing procedures. Stalin instructed attending district collectors and departmental secretaries to compile these submissions into actionable files for time-bound policy review.
The Chief Minister emphasized that engaging directly with diverse grassroots economic stakeholders enables the government to formulate pragmatic, responsive development policies. He reiterated that his administration views farmers, women entrepreneurs, and small industrialists as the true driving engines of Tamil Nadu's economy, pledging sustained institutional backing to support their livelihoods and regional enterprise.
