Commencing his second day of field inspections in Vellore under the Kala Aayvil Mudhalvar initiative, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin visited Sathuvachari to inspect the ongoing construction of an Urban Health and Wellness Centre. Stalin reviewed structural progress, medical equipment plans, and clinical facilities with public health engineers, instructing them to expedite completion so local residents gain immediate access to neighborhood primary healthcare services.
Following the hospital inspection, the Chief Minister visited a nearby government primary school to evaluate the operational standards of the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme. Stalin examined the central kitchen facilities, checked ingredient freshness, and inspected food preparation hygiene before personally serving hot morning meals to young schoolchildren. He sat with the students, observed their meal routines, and interacted warmly with teachers and kitchen staff regarding daily menu variety and nutritional quality.
Stalin remarked that providing nourishing morning food to primary school students eliminates morning hunger, improves classroom attention, and encourages consistent school attendance among underprivileged children. He affirmed that direct surprise inspections ensure high execution standards across all social welfare initiatives, reiterating the government's steadfast commitment to child health, universal nutrition, and public education across Tamil Nadu.
