Presiding over the Vellore regional review meeting under the Kala Aayvil Mudhalvar scheme, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin instructed district collectors and departmental heads to identify the administration's core priority tasks and work in seamless inter-departmental coordination to serve the public. Stalin emphasized that public welfare must serve as the singular benchmark for measuring administrative success, urging officials across Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupathur, and Tiruvannamalai districts to transcend administrative boundaries.
The Chief Minister pointed out that major government initiatives—such as social welfare schemes, drinking water projects, industrial corridors, and healthcare facilities—require continuous collaboration between revenue, municipal, public works, and rural development agencies. When departmental silos cause procedural friction or miscommunication, project execution stalls and ordinary citizens suffer avoidable inconvenience. Stalin mandated regular inter-agency coordination meetings at the district level to expedite land transfers, utility clearances, and project sanctions.
Stalin reiterated that citizen-centered governance constitutes the philosophical core of his administration. He instructed officials to visit remote panchayats, inspect public service delivery points personally, and resolve pending grievances promptly. Concluding the review, Stalin affirmed that the government will continue using direct field inspections to ensure state initiatives produce maximum tangible benefits for regional communities.
