Chief Minister M.K. Stalin presided over a high-level administrative review under the Kala Aayvil Mudhalvar field inspection initiative, directing district collectors and administrative officers to resolve public grievances with urgency and personal empathy. Emphasizing the human dimension of governance, Stalin instructed officials that public petitions submitted by citizens are not mere sheets of paper, but embody individual livelihoods, family well-being, and future security.
The Chief Minister insisted that administrative machinery must demonstrate measurable accountability at every level of revenue, municipal, and rural administration. He observed that ordinary citizens travel substantial distances to present their difficulties, and prolonged procedural delays erode public trust in state institutions. District collectors were directed to establish time-bound tracking mechanisms, conduct regular departmental follow-ups, and ensure that relief, land documentation, pensions, and welfare benefits reach applicants without bureaucratic impediments.
Stalin affirmed that the primary objective of field inspections is to eliminate administrative bottlenecks and bring government decision-making closer to the public. He pledged that the state government will maintain unflagging momentum in addressing grassroots demands, ensuring that administrative actions translate directly into tangible improvements for people across all districts.
