Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered the live inaugural address at CREDAI FairPro 2023, the annual flagship property exhibition organized by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India in Chennai. In his speech, Stalin stressed that orderly urban development requires collaborative synergy between government authorities and private developers. He emphasized that the state government is actively modernizing urban planning regulations, digitizing land records, and expediting building approvals through transparent administrative portals. These structural reforms are designed to provide predictability for builders while protecting consumer investments and encouraging capital flow into organized housing projects.

Stalin also urged builders to prioritize green building standards, rainwater harvesting systems, and disaster-resilient structural designs. He stated that the government remains dedicated to ensuring that working-class and middle-income families find affordable housing options within accessible commuting distances of major employment centers. Stalin affirmed that Tamil Nadu will continue updating infrastructure policies to support resilient, inclusive urban expansion.
