Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered an inspiring commemorative address during the live ceremonial unveiling of a majestic statue of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi in Nagercoil. Addressing a massive gathering of party cadres, cultural scholars, and local citizens, Stalin paid heartfelt tribute to Karunanidhi's towering intellectual and administrative contributions toward shaping the socioeconomic landscape of Tamil Nadu over half a century of active public service.

The Chief Minister underscored Karunanidhi's profound affection for the Kanyakumari region, noting his pivotal executive decisions that funded regional irrigation dams, expanded medical college facilities, and fortified coastal infrastructure for local fishing communities. Stalin explained that commemorating Karunanidhi's legacy provides renewed energy to continue the Dravidian movement's unfinished mission of creating an egalitarian society free from caste discrimination and educational poverty.

Stalin affirmed that the current state administration draws daily governance inspiration from Karunanidhi's compassionate public welfare policies. By executing modern welfare schemes and promoting equitable urban growth in Nagercoil, the government honors the legendary leader's vision. Concluding his live address, Stalin urged party workers to carry Karunanidhi's ideals of self-respect, state rights, and social justice to every household across Tamil Nadu.
