Continuing his extensive inspection tour of his home assembly constituency, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin dedicated completed civic development works worth 3.49 crore rupees and laid foundation stones for fresh public infrastructure projects valued at 1.14 crore rupees in Kolathur. The Chief Minister also conducted a detailed on-site technical inspection of the major railway overbridge currently under construction at an estimated cost of 61.98 crore rupees, reviewing engineering progress and traffic diversion plans alongside municipal and railway engineers.

Stalin distributed targeted welfare assistance, educational scholarships, and assistive devices to hundreds of local beneficiaries during the public event. The new infrastructure projects include modern community welfare halls, improved underground storm water drains, paved pedestrian pavements, and renovated children's recreation parks designed to enhance living standards across suburban residential neighborhoods. Stalin instructed contractors and municipal authorities to expedite the railway overbridge construction to alleviate traffic congestion for daily commuters.
