Chief Minister M.K. Stalin delivered the special address at the grand Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Tamil Nadu Women Police, praising their fifty years of exemplary public service and dedication to upholding the rule of law. Addressing senior police commanders and women officers from across the state, Stalin underscored that Tamil Nadu's progressive standing as a safe and peaceful state is directly tied to the professionalism, vigilance, and compassion of its police personnel.
The Chief Minister outlined several welfare measures implemented by his administration to support women officers, including improved maternity benefits, child daycare facilities at district headquarters, separate restrooms in police stations, and rationalized duty hours. Stalin emphasized that maintaining law and order requires continuous modernization, transparent governance, and human-centric policing. He urged the force to maintain an uncompromising stance against gender-based violence, cyber crimes targeting young women, and domestic offenses.
Stalin affirmed that the state government will continue investing heavily in advanced technological tools, forensic infrastructure, and capacity-building programs for the police department. He congratulated the women officers on reaching this historic milestone and inspiring countless young girls.
