The unabashed insistences of #HindiImposition have come to the extent of directing us to label even a curd packet in Hindi, relegating Tamil & Kannada in our own states.
Such brazen disregard to our mother tongues will make sure those responsible are banished from South forever. https://t.co/gw07ypyouV

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin flagged off 100 newly procured high-mobility patrol vehicles for the Greater Chennai Police during an official launch event held at the Island Grounds in Chennai. Equipped with modern GPS tracking technology, public address systems, and emergency medical kits, these patrol vehicles will be deployed across arterial roads, crowded commercial zones, and sensitive residential neighborhoods to provide continuous mobile surveillance and rapid incident response.
The induction forms part of the state government's comprehensive initiative to modernize the police fleet and upgrade urban crime prevention capabilities. Stalin pointed out that visible, active mobile patrolling significantly deters street crimes, enhances women's safety during night hours, and drastically reduces response times during emergency calls to the police control room. The vehicles will coordinate directly with modern command and control centers across the city.
Stalin commended the Greater Chennai Police for maintaining public peace and effectively utilizing digital surveillance tools to ensure urban security. He affirmed that the Dravidian Model administration will continue to invest in modernizing police infrastructure, procuring advanced equipment, and improving mobility to safeguard the welfare and peace of Chennai's citizens.
