I express my gratitude to all the leaders, who took part in the first national conference of @aifsoj.
All journeys start with a single step and we have started ours today!
I also thank @PWilsonDMK who co-ordinated and organised this event successfully! https://t.co/VGEznmt7KV

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin submitted a detailed memorandum of development priorities to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during their official meeting in Chennai. The representation outlined vital infrastructural and financial requirements across key sectors, urging the Union Government to sanction pending approvals and disburse overdue federal allocations. Stalin emphasized that accelerating Tamil Nadu's growth momentum directly strengthens the economic foundation of the entire Indian nation.
Key demands in the memorandum included fast-tracking Phase II of the Chennai Metro Rail project with equitable Union equity sharing, sanctioning new railway line doubling projects across southern districts, and releasing pending disaster relief and education grants. Stalin also pressed for permanent solutions to safeguard the traditional fishing rights and safety of Tamil Nadu fishermen operating in the Palk Strait, urging decisive diplomatic interventions with Sri Lanka.
The Chief Minister maintained that true federalism entails active central support for high-performing states that demonstrate fiscal discipline and efficient program delivery. He called upon the Prime Minister to act favorably on the state's representations, ensuring that national resources are distributed equitably to sustain Tamil Nadu's social and industrial advancement.
