Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin virtually inaugurated newly constructed police stations, residential quarters, and administrative office complexes built at an expenditure of over 100 crore rupees across various districts. Addressing senior police officers and department officials during the launch event in Chennai, Stalin highlighted that providing modern infrastructure, adequate working facilities, and comfortable housing for law enforcement personnel is essential for boosting morale and ensuring efficient policing throughout the state.
The Chief Minister underscored that the police force serves as the frontline protector of public order, citizen safety, and democratic peace across Tamil Nadu. Stalin instructed officers to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics, transparency, and public accountability. He emphasized that every police station must function as an approachable, citizen-friendly center where complainants—especially women, children, and marginalized sections—are received with empathy and their grievances redressed without delay.
Stalin reiterated his administration's focus on adopting advanced technology, strengthening cybercrime units, and streamlining police welfare initiatives. He assured that the government will continue to allocate substantial budgetary resources to modernize police infrastructure and safeguard the welfare of police personnel and their families.
