Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin stressed that administrative responsibilities toward Adi Dravidar and Scheduled Tribe welfare extend far beyond providing education, employment, reservations, and official appointments. Addressing a high-level review meeting in Chennai, Stalin remarked that the historic journey toward complete social justice requires sustained effort across all sectors. He declared that while material and infrastructural progress is vital, achieving deep-seated social change and transforming societal mindsets remains the ultimate objective of Dravidian governance.
The Chief Minister reviewed the implementation of targeted welfare schemes for marginalized communities, including educational scholarships, modern hostel facilities, land distribution programs, and specialized financial assistance for young entrepreneurs. Stalin directed department heads and district collectors to ensure that development funds are utilized efficiently and transparently, without administrative bottlenecks or delays that hinder community progress.
Stalin reiterated that eradicating caste discrimination and social untouchability demands an unceasing cultural struggle alongside legal and welfare measures. He urged public servants and community leaders to work collaboratively to dismantle entrenched prejudices, foster genuine equality, and ensure that every marginalized citizen enjoys dignity, equal opportunity, and full societal participation.
