Inaugurated Tamil Nadu's first ever International Medical Value Travel Summit in Chennai - the medical tourism capital of our country known for providing world-class healthcare at affordable cost.
This summit with the participation of several international delegates and professionals from industry will promote Tamil Nadu as the global hub of Medical Tourism and showcase our state's robust medical infrastructure that we have developed with a clear vision over the years.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the state's first-ever International Medical Value Travel Summit in Chennai, highlighting the capital city's well-established standing as the medical tourism capital of India. Attended by several overseas delegates, healthcare executives, and industry specialists, the conference aimed to showcase Tamil Nadu's sophisticated medical infrastructure, distinguished clinical talent, and capacity to deliver world-class therapeutic treatments at affordable costs to international patients.
Stalin emphasized that the state's premier healthcare ecosystem is the product of visionary, decades-long planning by successive Dravidian administrations. He pointed out that Tamil Nadu boasts a dense network of super-specialty hospitals, accredited medical colleges, and state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities capable of handling complex medical interventions across varied disciplines. The Chief Minister noted that international patients from across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East regularly seek advanced care in Chennai due to high clinical success rates and reasonable costs.
Looking forward, Stalin affirmed that the government will actively partner with private medical providers to streamline medical visas, expand wellness facilities, and elevate patient care standards. He expressed confidence that Chennai will consolidate its preeminence as an international healthcare sanctuary.
