Marking the commencement of the third year of Dravidian Model governance, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin presided over a major welfare distribution ceremony in Chennai. Stalin personally distributed social security pension sanction orders to one lakh newly enrolled beneficiaries, providing essential monthly financial support to senior citizens, widows, and destitute persons who had previously remained outside administrative welfare coverage.
In addition to social security assistance, the Chief Minister presented commemorative merit awards to ambitious young participants who completed advanced vocational and technical training under his dream initiative, the Naan Mudhalvan skill development scheme. Stalin also handed over banking debit cards to collegiate female students under the groundbreaking Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Pudhumai Penn scheme, which provides one thousand rupees per month to boost higher educational enrollment among young women.
Stalin affirmed that the extensive achievements registered during the administration's first two years will continue with sustained energy across the remaining five-year mandate.
